Between Earth and Sky
Welcome to my current project, inspired by Rebecca Roanhorse's novel series, "Between Earth and Sky." This project is a reimagining of her captivating series, rooted in Pre-Columbian American civilizations.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project was the opportunity to breathe life into Roanhorse's exceptional characters, with rich backstories and qualities that make them both relatable and extraordinary. They are the heart and soul of the book, so my goal was to stay faithful to Roanhorse's descriptions.
When I first read Black Sun (the first book in the series), I was captivated by this ancient and enchanting world. I couldn’t help but imagine the book as a feature film. This project is a proof of concept, capturing the essence of this remarkable world and bringing it to life.
